Jordi A. Garzona is an undergraduate at LSU majoring in Economics with a minor in Energy Economics, expected to graduate in Fall 2026. His work at the Energy Institute focuses on energy infrastructure and utility data for Louisiana and the Gulf of Mexico, including FERC Form 1 filings, electric cooperative records, and offshore lease data. He is a co-author of a 2025 study in Science of the Total Environment on methane emissions from orphan wells in Louisiana.
